Prof. Ruidong Xue is leading the Xue Lab with a focus on tumor genomics and precision medicine. Integrating advanced technologies such as single-cell, spatial, and multi-omics approaches, along with state-of-the-art bioinformatics and functional experiments, he aims to elucidate novel mechanisms underlying tumor evolution and the tumor microenvironment. He is particularly interested in three specific topics:
1) Investigating the functional heterogeneity and novel therapeutic strategies on tumor-associated neutrophils (TANs).
2) Deciphering the dynamics of subclonal evolution throughout the entire course of tumorigenesis, reconstructing the temporal and spatial dynamics of subclonal evolution.
3) Exploring the underlying mechanisms and targeting strategies of HBV-oncogene-extrachromosomal circular DNA (ecDNA) structures.
